Our story started back in 1878 when the Howell family first settled these 960 acres. What began as a traditional farm with cattle and crops has blossomed into a vibrant family destination. Through the years—and thanks to a little creativity during the 1980s farm crisis—we’ve shifted from raising hogs to hosting hayrides and from planting row crops to growing joy.
Today, Howell’s is all about celebrating the simple pleasures of rural life with people who matter most. We’ve preserved 800 acres of our original land, and every inch is infused with the heart and soul of generations past.

Take a spin through our 8-acre corn maze or hop aboard our wheelchair-accessible wagon rides. Kids love the obstacle course, hamster wheels, and giant jump pad. And for those with a competitive streak, don’t miss our paintball range and two-seater pedal trikes.
